Code of Conduct

We follow the traditional Ashtanga method and agree to honour all eight limbs of the practice.

The shala is a place of contemplation, we respect and support each other’s practice.

Students remain responsible for their own practice. Please practice gently and intelligently, pause when needed, and seek appropriate professional medical or psychological help if you have injuries or mental health challenges.

Personal information shared in the context of practice is treated with care and not discussed outside the room.

This is a physically and emotionally safe space for everyone. If anything feels unsafe, uncomfortable or awkward, please raise this as soon as possible so we can address it together.

This code is a living document. We may adjust it over time as we learn from experience, from each other and from the tradition.
